If you live in an apartment your water bill is part of the charges that are payable monthly. If you live in a private house you will be billed individually by the "SIG" (Water Company) according to the reading of your water meter.

The proceedure depends on your place of residence :

In the " pays de Gex ", you need to find out from your " mairie " the society that supplies the water for your town or village.
Next, armed with your lease if you are renting or the title deeds if you are the owner, you will need to full out a
" demande d'abonnement " with the society concerned. It will take a day or two before being connected to the supply.

In Annemasse and its surroundings you can do everything by telephone by directly calling the society :
